Our soul and a communal space for all foodies united

Inspired by the ancient Greek tradition, our Agora is a vibrant meeting place where the community comes together. This 25-metre glass atrium, flooded with natural light, is a lifestyle destination. It is 10,000 square feet of pure happiness, where urban farmers harvest a vertical orchard opposite a mural by world-famous Greek graffiti artist INO.
Here, bakers, butchers, fishmongers, and greengrocers bring the best and freshest of everything to market. For us, authenticity in food is unnegotiable.

The restaurant

Nestled within our expansive agora, our restaurant embodies the ethos and vision of Ergon—simple yet refined. Our menu showcases great Greek flavors and Mediterranean conviviality, celebrating the richness of regional cuisine with a modern touch. We embrace the concept of ‘sobremesa,’ a term from our Spanish cousins describing the time that seems to expand around and after a meal, spent in conversation, relaxing, and savoring the pleasure of the oldest social ritual.

The luminous patio

The first thing you notice when passing by Ergon House is our luminous patio, visible through large windows that showcase its beauty. Drenched in natural light and centered around a majestic olive tree, this inviting space is perfect for meetings or a relaxing breakfast. It offers a serene environment filled with greenery and natural elements, providing a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle.

The famous motocarro

A van for all seasons, a restored italian motocarro, which is the very first to notice as you enter into our House. We loved this vintage three-wheeler motocarro the moment we spotted it. Manufactured by Motom in Milan between 1952 and 1966, it had seen better days. We restored it to live out an honourable retirement as our speciality van, dedicated to seasonal themes such as Christmas, Easter, Valentine’s and Halloween, as well as customised offerings in between.

The greengrocer’s

Our greengrocer's offers fresh produce straight from local farms. With a focus on seasonal and organic fruits and vegetables, we ensure that you have access to the healthiest and most flavorful ingredients, supporting local agriculture and promoting a sustainable lifestyle. Additionally, the vertical orchard expanding on one side of our 25-metre atrium is a jewel in itself. Receiving natural daylight and drawing on the latest in hydroponics and aquaponics, it’s our 2.0 farming field where we grow seasonal aromatic herbs such as oregano, basil and rosemary.

The deli

Our deli is a treasure trove of curated foods and lifestyle items. Here, you can discover artisanal cheeses, gourmet meats, specialty pantry staples, and unique products that reflect our commitment to quality. We started simply, with ‘nothing but the best’. Building on the principle of quality, we count today some 1200 artisanal products from over 150 producers. Our product portfolio grows by 10% a year, patiently, as a result of extensive scouting for new suppliers and R&D of food technologies. Ergon has become a global name in Mediterranean food and Greek cuisine culture on the strength of its hand-picked premium content, strong aesthetics and commitment to nurturing and promoting small and honest local producers.

The butcher’s

Our country may be known primarily for its Mediterranean coastline, seafood, and idyllic islands. But there is another side to Greece, that extends over wild terrain of raw natural beauty, across mountains and small isolated villages. Greek meat-based recipes are rooted in Northern cuisine. And since it all starts with the raw materials, we want to preserve and pass on the know-how of these traditional butchery – methods to future – generations. Our butcher's shop features the finest cuts of meat, sourced from local farms. From premium steaks, homemade sausages, or everyday essentials, our skilled butchers prepare everything for you and are always willing to suggest you recipes or share their tips.

The fishmonger’s

Choosing the ingredients is always our first priority. Even a simple recipe can become so flavourful when using the finest ingredients. So, here we are, selecting the freshest seafood for you, served up on a bed of ice.  With sustainable seafood brought in daily, we ensure you have access to the best the sea has to offer.

*We can also slice the fish for you or bake it, so you can take it home fresh and ready to enjoy or of course prepare it to be enjoyed on the spot.

The roastery

We have the highest appreciation for coffee and collaborate with award-winning Taf Roasters in Athens. As riders of the 3rd Wave, Taf is internationally renowned for sourcing the highest quality green coffee as a farm-to-cup artisanal product. Catering to a wide range of preferences, our own award-winning ERGON baristi bring the bean’s flavour to its fullest with skilful methods that include pour-over, hand brew, Chemex and V60, topped by some serious latte skills. You name it, we make it – including the famous Greek iced freddo espresso/cappuccino.

You’ll find the finest quality, single-origin bean varietals from micro-farms around the world at Ergon House. Our own speciality blends, Grandma’s Boy and Grandma’s Girl, were developed in collaboration with Taf. Their aroma carries notes of pine, baker’s chocolate and cinnamon, with a touch of berries.
