workshop / class

Have you ever wonder what’s hidden behind a perfect sourdough loaf? What is the artistry that follows it? Our brand new sourdough bread classes are here to shred light to your thoughts and questions and train you to be able to make from scratch your very own bread.

Three to four hours of hands-on experience learning all things sourdough, including techniques and artistry. Our creative baker Nikos Chandolias shares the secrets and steps to the perfect sourdough loaf, explaining the story behind the well rested sourdough.

Let’s have our morning coffee, tie our apron and get into action.

SCHEDULE

  • At 10am we gather at +2H, on the rooftop of ERGON BKHS. At the beginning of the morning class we will serve a coffee of choice, fresh bread and butter and jams to familiarize with our bread and the magic of morning baking.

  • Under the guidance of Nikos Chandolias we discover the artistry of sourdough, pose our questions, and gain a deep understanding of what sourdough and sourdough bread truly mean.

  • Now the time has come to mix and mingle ingredients, get closer to pure sourdough, knead our dough and get to know it better. Nothing can beat the feeling of a freshly shaped loaf made with your own hands.

  • By the end of the class you will receive a freshly baked loaf as a souvenir of the class as well as a full baking kit and a recipe to experiment at home! The kit includes:

    1 x 72H House bread flour

    1 x Oval Banneton

    1 x Jar with House sourdough

    1 x Bread Lame
