The Greek Periptero
At the entrance of Ergon House Ermou, the reception is housed inside a custom-built periptero, a structure inspired by the traditional Athenian kiosk that has long been part of everyday life in the city. These kiosks were places of small exchanges: a quick stop, a familiar face, a moment of pause within the flow of the street.
By welcoming guests through this symbolic form, we offer more than a check-in point—we offer an introduction to the spirit of the House. Open, familiar, and closely tied to the rhythm of the neighborhood, the periptero reflects our connection to Athens and its lived-in charm. It stands right at the threshold, inviting you in with the same warmth and ease you’ll find throughout your stay.
